05.24.08 | "Flow" 2008 @ Unauthorized Art
This year’s annual runway event was held at Unauthorized Art. The show featured 10 whole new fashion lines, displayed by over 40 models on the runway. Lines included in the show were: “Breeze” by Danielle Kelley, “Ecoastal Wear” by Maria Tonn, “Honeybird” by Kia Hayes, “Shine” by Kaitlin Hooper, “Apple Core” by Sophia Jain-Embry, “Uccelli” by Giovanna Stieglitz, “Jamm” by Jasmine Monroe, “Arcane” by Mellitta Jackson, “Cherry Blossom Festival” by Patrick Nothoff, and “Curl Up and Dye” By Emily Martin. 05.22.08 | There's No Business Like Show Business
Thursday, and Friday, May 22nd, and 23rd AAI theater presents A Musical Review May 22nd, and 23rd. This is AAI theaters first annual musical review. This showcase is a great learning experience for students, AAI theater brought in choreographers, and voice trainers to teach students how to sing and dance to their selected musical. The show is made of scenes from: "Wicked", "Hair", "Porgy and Bess", "Guys and Dolls", "Rent", and more.

05.17.08 | NCRT Hosts Little Shop of Horrors as an AAI Benefit
Saturday, May 17th NCRT hosted Little Shop of Horrors as a benefit show for AAI, a reception with the actors was held after the show, which gave the audience a chance to meet the stars of the show.


05.17.08 | NCRT Little Shop Of Horrors AAI benefit Tickets on sale Now
Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased at Arcata High School, or at the door before the show. Show starts at 8pm. reception with cast and refreshments after the show included in price of tiket.

AAI Applications for Fall 2008 are now be accepted for students not currently enrolled at Arcata High School. Auditions for AHS students are currently in progress.

04.18.08 | Dance Day a Sucsess
AAI participated in Humboldt States first annual dance day on Friday, April 8th. AAI students were taught Ballet, Jazz, Middle Eastern, Hip-Hop, African, and Modern Dance basics.
